Last week when I was sick I got a baby parakeet at Critters and Co. in Clinton. He is so cute. His name is Troy (from highschool musical). Yesterday I took him for a walk in my brothers old shirt. Then I put him in my back yard (on the golf course) and I played with him! Now I tought him to sit on my shoulder, and he never chirps!

My parakeet

Hey Hayley! I used to have a parakeet and Sammie had one too. My bird's name was Miranda Pie and Sammie's was Fred. They chirped like crazy and were in love. They would kiss each other with their little beaks and it was so cute! My gramma didn't want them any more so we gave them to one of our friends and they (stupidly) opened the cage outside and mine flew away :'( but they went to a pet shop to get a new one the next day and found Miranda agian :'). About two weeks ago Sammie said that Miranda died and it was a little sad.

Parakeets are so awesome! That's so cool that you put it in your backyard. I would be afraid i would loose it :) The only pets i'v had were fish, a hampster, and 2 cats. Are the parakeets loud?

i have always wanted a bird but they were to hard to take care of so i just stuck with dogs! its no suprise that u named him troy but i am so excited for hsm3 r u?
